Volunteer

Volunteers are the most important resource we have.

There are many ways you can help Stable Hands, Inc Equine Therapy Center be successful from one-time to reoccurring volunteer opportunities for youth, families, groups and individuals.

Program Volunteer

We rely on the skills and dedication of volunteers to help provide our therapeutic riding services. We are taking applications for future classes. Required training is provided to new volunteers.

Volunteers assist the students on horseback as well as interacting with them as a team according to the instructor’s lesson plan and guidance. They provide encouragement and security for the rider. Stable Hands Group Therapy Games

Riders do a variety of games and exercises on horseback, all designed to strengthen the areas of weakness they experience as well as building confidence in their own ability.

If interested in volunteering as a horse leader, sidewalker or instructor assistant, please download our Volunteer Application and Volunteer Guidelines below.
